Adolf Plays The Jazz: New Record
We’re glad to announce, that the second release on InTakt will be online soon. On November the 22nd we’ll present you the new Adolf Plays The Jazz record. The title will be Dirty Waters and it will feature 11 brilliant Tracks.
Netaudio Festival 2009
InTakt was invited to partake at the Netaudio Festival 2009 in Berlin. Though we’re sadly constrained to refuse that offer, due to a crowded timetable, we want to promote this event.
The Netaudio Festival 2009 is taking place from 8th to 10th October in Berlin and will present many artists and activists from the Netlabel/Netaudio Scene. You will be supplied with lots of information and music and you get the possibility to attend at talks and discussions about the theme.
There’s far more information and materials on the website of the project. Also you get some free samplers as a foretaste to the festival itself.
Thanks to the team of Netaudio Festival for organizing this and inviting us. We are very sorry and hope everything will work out fine.
Yarrr… Time To Board!
InTakt is supporting the Pirateparty on their political foray in germany. Election is on 27.September, until then some information needs to be spread.
There are several reasons for me, personaly, to vote for the Pirateparty. For InTakt the main reasons can be found in the 4. chapter of the election manifesto: Rights concerning immaterial commodities.
The PP stands for free sharing and hence against DRM (Digital Rights Management) technology and similar copy protection. Derivative works are new artistic creations and should be legal. Therefor the PP wants to readjust copyright.
Further the PP wants europe/germany to back out of the TRIPS (Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights) treaty, which for example says that copyright terms must extend to 50 years after the death of the author. The artist should be free to choose the kind of liscence under which he wants to release every single work.
The PP conveys new business and marketing modells, such as Creative Commons.
The patent law is obsolet and counterproductive, it needs to be revised, it constrains the progress of modern knowledge society.
These are only some reasons to vote for the Pirateparty and there are many more. Please read the manifesto and spread the word, this is crucial.
Wesharemusic Shares Ambient Collection
For a couple of weeks SWT’s Ambient Collection is also available on WeShareMusic. Since today it’s also possible to stream the single tracks there. Further we noticed that the Collection made it into the Top10 of WeShareMusic’s Download List. Thanks to everybody who downloaded it, don’t forget to spread the word.

Some may have noticed that there’s a first release online, we’ll come up with more information about it these days. Until then we really like to thank you for the nice feedback we received. I couldn’t answer all the emails so far, but I will. We are very thankful for your offerings to work with us.
